Involvement OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM
Being involved outside of the classroom and being active is very important to me as I believe it aids in my ability to continuously learn, interact with people and become a more well-rounded individual and designer. So I'd like to share a few snapshots of events, conferences, and projects that I was involved in during my graduate years at The Florida State University. Click on an image for an overview of the snapshot or follow its link for additional details!

It was designed to generate synergy, spawn collaborative projects among participants,

I served as the Co-Curator of the "Digital Fabrication - The Flat-pack Furniture Project" Graduate Furniture Design Gallery Show and was responsible for space planning, producing marketing and graphic materials, and installation of the furniture pieces. The project was to solve a privacy issue that we were experiencing in our "fishbowl" graduate student lounge. The project, started by my former chairperson consisted of finding donors, materials, and designing a graphic system that created privacy and told a story with our student work. As the current chairperson of the Graduate Visual Communications Committee, my job was to lead a team to design and execute the graphics and installation of the entire system.
